Consumer Preferences for the Products of Minor Millets in Tumakuru District of Karnataka, India

The study was carried out in Tumakuru District of Karnataka, India during 2021-2022 to examine the consumer preferences for products Minor millets. Sample consumers were categorized into urban and rural data enumerated from a total sample 40 comprising 20 consumers. Finger millet most consumed among with 3.5 kg per month followed by foxtail 2.5 little 2.0 month, while equally consuming other monthly household food expenditure consumers, expenses made on groceries (38.03 percent), vegetables (13.79 percent) millets (13.65 percent). Rs. 5404 which 13.65 percent amounted 745. Rural 3906 less than (Rs.5404). For each respondent, part-worth estimated using OLS regression analysis, also found price be significant attributes accounting 40.74 relative importance, gaining awareness consumption nutritional value health benefits is improving progressively.
